Managing Director Greece

Our client one of the fastest growing and respected name within chemical construction material industry, with global reach and strong international business exposure. Is looking to hire a Managing Director in Greece, based in Athens, Greece.


Reporting to: Regional Sales Director

Subordinates: 1 Sales Supervisor


Scope of the Position/Basic Functions

The main objective is to be responsible for the sales development of the whole product portfolio in the Greek market.

Drive profitable growth for brands /products, consistent with the company strategy.

Lead the process of constant improvement striving to be among the best brand

builder within the industry.

Have full accountability for sales volume and profit performance.

Identify and bring new business to the organization through the management of sales activities within the market assigned.

Ensure commercial viability by assessing specific market development projects,

providing feedback on global trends, strategic issues and business development.

Manage the implementation of all new business with focus on technology, cost

reduction and automated processes.

Ensure an efficient directing and monitoring of distribution organization with the objective to cover all relevant points of sales and to ensure the best possible distribution of products. Guide regular meetings and guarantee an efficient information exchange in the area of responsibility.

Reaching MbOs set by Regional Sales Manager (Volume, EBIT, distribution...)

Increasing market share


Candidate profile

Education: Ideal Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing or related area

Languages: Greek & English

Professional Experience: 5 years of working experience on management position within sales.

Experience in strategic approach to sales & marketing but with hands on in execution and experience in setting up a distribution network.
